We are building the ultimate food platform that surfaces the best dishes in each city, in a personalized experience, connecting restaurants to the diners most passionate about what they have to offer. We are looking for the smartest, most impactful and passionate people to join our food loving team.


We are hiring a Head of Logistics who will be responsible for leading and scaling our food delivery fleet spanning thousands of drivers. You are a visionary who is able to lead diverse teams to unified clearly communicated goals and you enjoy driving decisions based on data. You will own the end to end delivery experience at scale which includes working closely with engineering on how our driver apps and technology work to ensure the best driver quality and least delivery times are guaranteed. This is a key role at elmenus that comes with competitive stock options and autonomy in the organization to lead a critical function with your strong vision and execution.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Build and scale our food delivery fleet operations across multiple cities and obsessively drive down delivery times to become the most reliable food delivery platform

  • Inspire teams and external resources to follow through on their vision for operations excellence as well as take big ideas and break them into actionable steps with tight timelines for completion

  • Manage driver acquisition teams to utilize 3rd party suppliers and directly hired drivers to ensure supply health

  • Build end-to-end online ordering processes with the purpose of better efficiency, decreasing order cycle handling time and constantly eliminating error rates

  • Evolve our driver incentive schemes and benefits constantly to offer fair earnings to drivers and improve driver retention 

  • Refine and automate processes for cash collection to ensure timely reconciliations

  • Generate, build processes and define KPIs for restaurants to comply to elmenus standards & SLAs

  • Analyze data from multiple sources to optimize financial profitability across the board

Job requirements

What will make you fit for this role

  • 5+ years' of relevant experience in operations, supply chain or logistics. Food delivery logistics experience is a plus

  • User centric: puts customers at the core of all decisions and experiences

  • Strategic planner: proven track record in planning, budgeting, forecasting and establishing the right KPIs

  • Data driven: use data for all decisions, understanding that the magic is in the outliers not the averages
