elmenus is a venture-backed food discovery startup based in Egypt that serves over 1 Million monthly users. We are building a platform that combines a social, visual and personalized experience to help people discover and order the food they will love. We received over 10 Million USD in venture capital to help us grow faster in the huge global market of food discovery. We are looking for the smartest, most impact and passionate people to join our food loving team.


We are looking for a sales Manager to join the elmenus management team and help us on our mission of enabling restaurants of all sizes that make great food and need to reach the customers who are most passionate about the food they offer.


You will be mainly responsible for growing the our network of partner restaurants, growing our sales teams by hiring and incentivizing the best salespeople and setting sales strategies that grow restaurants we deal with by helping them utilize the different solutions of the elmenus platform.


Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining the sales pipeline by prioritizing the most relevant and important restaurants through competition and traffic surveys
  • Devising and executing the sales strategy including pricing, value proposition and restaurants segmentation
  • Continuously refine the business model to enable scaling our offering to relevant customer segments
  • Hire and set proper incentivizes for the growing sales team across different territories
  • Establish direct relationships with restaurants of all sizes by gathering direct and indirect insights. Be the elmenus voice and restaurant advocate inside the company
  • Drive sales teams to achieve monthly acquisition, retention targets and KPIs
  • Continuously evaluate new business opportunities based on market insights and surveys to help solve the restaurants' pains
  • Improve the sales teams productivity through sales process trainings, pitching and negotiations coaching
  • Automate the sales process as much as possible to streamline monitoring, reporting and management of the team
  • Establish marketing partnerships with restaurants to offer the best promotions to our users through well defined packages and elmenus marketing support

Requirements

  • 5+ years work experience
  • Experience implementing winning sales strategies
  • Proven record of achieving sales targets through directly or indirectly managing large sales teams
  • Strong relationship building, negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organization skills
  • Experience working in the restaurants industry is a plus
