Senior Graphic Designer

elmenus is a venture-backed food discovery startup based in Egypt that serves over 1 Million monthly users. We are building a platform that combines a social, visual and personalized experience to help people discover and order the food they will love.

There’s a saying that goes, “you eat with your eyes first” and that’s exactly what we’re looking for with our Creative (Foodie) Designer. We’re looking for a graphic designer, but not just anyone: they need to be someone who knows how to design visual food content that inspires people to stop scrolling and start eating!

Job Requirements:

• Taking a design brief and creating something mouthwatering out of it
• The visual look and feel of all social media posts
• Working with our foodie community manager, copywriters, photographers and videographers to brainstorm and implement the yummiest and most inspiring food-ordering content in Egypt
• Taking templates that could easily be boring, like presentations and newsletters, and turning them into the most food-inspired, drool-worthy designs out there

What makes you fit for this role:

• Must. Love. Food!
• At least 3 years of experience in graphic design
• You’re a great story teller
• Using digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create designs
• Being up-to-date on all foodie trends (especially when it comes to design!) both in Egypt and abroad
• The ability to take a simple brief and create something stunning out of it - we want to see your creativity shine
• The ability to make people hungry through design alone!
• copywriting is a great plus!
• Proficient user of illustrator, Photoshop & After effects or Adobe flash.
• Preferably applied arts ,design school or any equivalent degree graduate.
