elmenus is a venture-backed food discovery platform with over $20M in funding based in Egypt. We are building a platform that combines a social, visual and personalized experience to help millions of people discover and order the food they will love. We are looking for the smartest, most impactful and passionate people to join our food loving team.

We are hiring a key accounts manager to join the elmenus management team and help us on our mission of enabling restaurants to connect with the diners most passionate about what they have to offer.

You will be mainly responsible for helping large scale restaurants (local and multinational chains) grow their business with elmenus through upselling and recommending the best products that suit their lifecycle on the platform. You will be accountable for total revenues generated and volume you drive to the accounts you’re responsible for. Expect major collaborations with other diverse teams in the company to help customize solutions based on restaurant insights, as you will act as the customer’s voice inside the company.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Operate as the primary point of contact for key account stakeholders

  • Reflecting on the business and come up with new initiatives that assist in increasing company revenue

  • Develop a trusted advisory relationship with accounts, customer stakeholders and internal partners

  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements

  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives

  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust

  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships

  • Provide regular reports of progress and forecasts on monthly basis to internal and external stakeholders



  • 3+ year of experience in Account Management with at least 2 year of solid achievements in handling key Accounts.

  • Empathetic with customers you deal with in current and previous roles

  • Data Driven with attention to details

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills

  • Excellent English language skills (writing, conversation, and understanding)

  • A positive, can-do attitude at tackling problems and reaching win-win solutions

  • Self-motivated and can work well under pressure

  • Excellent organization and time-management skills

  • Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced growing startup environment

  • Curiosity to learn about the restaurant industry and always suggesting new areas of improvement at elmenus

  • Familiarity of restaurants across Egypt is a plus

  • Loving food is a plus!

  • Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
